About Us

For as long as he could remember, Tim enjoyed doing construction-type work. Growing up, Tim was able to gain a lot of experience with woodworking throughout his Junior High and High School years. While he was in school, he won numerous prizes, awards, and a scholarship due to the talent that he displayed.

About 25 years ago, Tim decided that he wanted to start focusing on doing custom work because he was unsuccessful in finding quality furniture. Since he knew he was unable to find the quality he was searching for, he knew other people would be in the same position as well. His specialty products are Dining Room Tables, Cabinets, and other farm-style custom furniture. However, he is quite talented at producing an assortment of products. 

Tammy, his wife, started to become interested in woodworking after she and Tim met back in 2001. His passion for the art inspired her and she noticed she had a real heart for it! Tim was a good mentor and was able to teach Tammy what he knew and before long, she was doing projects alongside him. Their ability to work well as a team really showed when they were working on projects together. 

After doing many side projects (including building their previous house) and building custom products for friends and family, they decided they wanted to help other people too. Their goal in starting T&T Woodworking and Design is that they will be able to provide solid wood furniture at an affordable price. 

Just as anyone is with what they are passionate about, Tim and Tammy are most comfortable when they’re in their shop building custom products.
